Kalenna is a former artist from the group “Diddy Dirty Money”. “After briefly conversing with her about being featured on R.E.C.’s Blog, I felt her humble, kind, spunky personality. She was cool and dope about it”. Says, S. Whittaker. “I immediately felt these colors: the gold, the red for bold, the green for money, the black and white for the fashion, the empire, the talent, verses her lyrical talent. I felt couture, I felt Qui Qui in French. I felt overseas with a whole bit of New York”.
Kalenna is now working on her independent artistry! Earlier this year she dropped the “Chamber of Diaries” Mixtape. It was different with an organized erratic style in a good way, rock, DGAF way. Stated by Robyn, “Your Lyrics are very Raw and Straight to the Point”. Different titles like, “Pain and Alcohol” to “6000 Sisters” Kalenna is obviously trying to stand out down to her titles alone. It’s a blessing to have a platform from the group “Diddy Dirty Money”. “From your song lyrics to your music videos, you truly epitomize self-expression”.
We wish you the Best Kalenna and may you flourish the industry with new dope music. Go Get Em Girl!

OK! This question is pretty simple but is the answer that hard? Or is it not!?! Well… R.E.C. Blog would like to know which female rapper has done it the best & shut it down with their lyrical content? Nicki Minaj is flaring the charts & bickering with Hot 97. Are you serious? On June 4th, 2012 she had Flex sweating behind his mic. “Hardcore”? Yet Lil Kim, Ms. Brooklyn Stand Up, Hard as Hell is stressing over Nicki Minaj. Foxy Shivering of Crack & Eve trying to find a space in this game. Lauryn Hill to R.E.C.’s knowledge, well maybe; Has Done the Damn Thing! Is Hip Hop for Females or Females for Hip Hop? Missy is Missing, did beats but not really. All though her creativity was always dope! Then MC Lyte had common sense and Queen Latifah is a self made entrepreneur. Hip Hop has opened the acting door for the Hip Hop Queen and she’s still rocking after the millenium. We can go on and on. Well R.E.C. Blog Visitor, get on the R.E.C. mic and let us know who you think did it best! Peace!

It’s been confirmed that George Zimmerman will be charged in the Trayvon Martin shooting.
According to a senior law enforcement official, Corey is expected to announce that Zimmerman will face state charges. For now, it was not immediately clear what charge(s) George will face until it’s announced at the press conference later this afternoon. But…..George is still MIA so this should be interesting.
And many people around the country have been weighing in on the situation. Recently Bill Cosby said,
“Without a gun, I don’t see Mr. Zimmerman approaching Trayvon by himself. The power-of-the-gun mentality had him unafraid to confront someone. Even police call for backup in similar situations.”
“We’ve got to get the gun out of the hands of people who are supposed to be on neighborhood watch,” he said. “When you carry a gun, you mean to harm somebody, kill somebody.”
R & B legend Chaka Khan and other celebrities use their music to pay tribute to Trayvon Martin, the Florida teenager killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer last month.
In the PSA music video, Khan and others wear hoodies to remember Martin.
Watch the video above called “Super Life: Fear Kills, Love Heals.”
Bobby Brown‘s sister, Leolah Brown, has claimed that the late Whitney Houston got the cocaine that in her system the day she died from Houston’s off-and-on boyfriend, Ray J.
Leolah accused Ray J of being a ‘runnerboy’ on CNN’s Headline News with Dr Drew on Thursday, but a rep for Ray J told Us Weekly that her remarks were “rife with false statements.” ……..! I don’t know what to say about this one?!?!?
